William “Bill” F. Grill

At the age of 89, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024.  Beloved husband of Madeline K. (Schultz) Grill.  Loving father to Michelle (Bob) Gold, Lea Ann (the late Kier) Grill, Scott (Gloria) Grill, and Theresa (Ken) DiBucci.  Grandfather to Sean Williams, Stephen Shook, Marc Sestok, Kenny DiBucci, Rikki Sestok, Nicholas (Hannah) DiBucci, Danielle (Shawn) Rua, Tyler Gold, Christopher Rauch, and Daniel Rauch.  Great-grandfather to Gabby Sestok, Max Williams, Molly Williams, Julia Rua, Aiden Rue, James Coleman, and Vanessa Coleman.  Son to the late William J. and Anna (Kirby) Grill.  Brother to Ray (Pam) Kober, Frank (Denise) Kober, Ida (Joe) Bozic, Margaret (Dom) Pusateri, Sara (Ben) Pusateri, Clara (the late Henry) Ziolkowski, the late Joe Grill, and Robert (the late Carol) Grill.  Survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In 1983, he started the company of Bill Grill Exterminating, Inc., now known as Grill Pest Control.  In 2013 he was inducted into the Boys Town Nebraska Sports Hall of Fame, class of '54, for football, basketball, and track.  Because of his love of football, he started the Penn Hills Pythons semi-pro football team.  He was a Marine Veteran.  He also enjoyed playing a good round of golf.  He will be missed by family and friends; they will continue to share his memories.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 3 – 7 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Blessing Service held Wednesday, 11 am., at the Funeral Home.

Interment Private.
