Virginia T. Hummert (Thorn)
At the age of 82, of Plum, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Paul E. Hummert. Loving mother to Paul E. Hummert, Jr. (Lisa) and Susan L. Ciongoli (Vincent). Grandmother to Matthew Beiriger (Danyel), Kelsi Ciongoli (Shawn), Kayli Zimmer (Tyler), Justin Hummert, Hanna Hummert, Kaiden Ciongoli, Abby Hummert, and Emily Hummert. Great-grandmother to Maxx Allen, Myla Allen, Franco Zimmer, Khalie Beiriger, Alexi Beiriger, Raylynn Beiriger, and Eeva Beiriger. Daughter to the late William and Mary (Fallon) Thorn. Sister to Michael “Micky” Thorn (Karen).
Virginia enjoyed making crafts, and collecting baskets, and the special time that was spent with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Family & friends will be received on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 5-8 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.
Service held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, 10 am at Murrysville Community Church, 3750 School Road, Murrysville, Pa. 15668. All will meet at the church.
A final respects after the service Thursday, May 16, 2024, 11:30 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
