Vincent Joseph Morante, Sr.

Vincent Joseph Morante, Sr., passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne (Shriver) Morante.  Beloved father to Vincent Morante, Jr., Jenine Valenti, and Trina Rice.  Grandfather to Jarrett Rice, Neissa (Valenti) Morris (Brandon), Jennah (Rice) Barthlow (Nathan), Juliana Rice, and Vito Valenti.  Great-Grandfather to Venzio Morris, Serenzo Morris, and Gianina Barthlow.  Son of the late Carmen and Evelyn (Yeckel) Morante.  Brother to Carmen Morante (Dolorse) and Eugene Morante (Connie).  Survived by nieces and nephews.

A loving husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather.  He enjoyed taking care of his farm & horses.  While doing this, he enjoyed spending time with his family & having a drink with everyone with the view of the farm he built.  He spent many years making his own wine & owning multiple businesses.  His biggest accomplishment was building his own house & farm where he was able to stay & enjoy until the end.  He will forever be a legend to all who knew him.
