Robert "Eli" Alexander Popovich

Age 67, of Penn Hills, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020.  Son of the late Alexander Eli  and Margaret Rene (Briggle) Popovich; brother of the late Nancy Putteman (Dan surviving).  Survived by niece Kim Cuiffi (Dan), and nephew Dan Putteman, Jr.; great nieces Alana Cuiffi and Abby Cuiffi.  Also survived by Rob's beloved companion Axel.

Robert was a proud Navy Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was always known for his silly and joking personality making everyone laugh, and he was cherished by his many childhood friends who were like his family who knew him as "Uncle Bob".  

A visitation with family & friends will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 6 - 7 p.m.  A Blessing Service will follow 7 p.m., at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

We will be following the Governor's COVID guidelines.

 Interment Private.
