Robert A. Swartzlander

At the age of 91, of Lower Burrell, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, surrounded by his family.  Robert was born on April 1, 1933, to the late Edward Arther and Mary (Shaner) Swartzlander.  He was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Mildred (Cochran) Swartzlander.  Loving father to the late Robert Swartzlander (Joan surviving).  Brother to Charles Swartzlander (the late Connie).  Uncle to Brian Swartzlander (Julie) and Sandy Suzi (Jerry).  Also survived by great nieces and nephews. 

Robert lived out in California for many years worked as a handyman, before returning to Pittsburgh. He enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, woodworking and boating. 

Service and Interment Private.
