Robert A. Kalbaugh, Jr.

Age 87, of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021.  Beloved husband of 68 years to Catherine A (Bostedo) Kalbaugh; loving father of Robert A. Kalbaugh, III (late Bonnie L.), Lynda Merola (Bill), and David D. Kalbaugh (Terrie).  Grandfather of Lori L. Kalbaugh (John Russick), Andrea M. Kalbaugh, Robert M. Kalbaugh (Michelle), Michael Merola (Karon), Billy Merola (Natalie), Brandi Kalbaugh (Alex Krause), Dave Kalbaugh (Emily Cooper), and the late Karen L. Kalbaugh; great grandfather of Jeremey Kalbaugh, Alaina Kalbaugh, Dillon Fenner, Johnny Russick, Michael Lamia, Bobby Kalbaugh, Anie Smith, Ryan Kalbaugh, Anthony Merola (Amanda), Natalie Merola, Dominic Merola (Kelsey Kieger), Valerie Merola (Michael Pirollo), Britney Merola (Tyler Brinko), and the  late Billy Merola, III; great-great grandfather of Mila Merola and Harper Merola.  Son of the late Robert A., Sr. and Anna Louise (Seibert) Kalbaugh; brother of Tom Kalbaugh (Rosita), the late Margaret Kalbaugh, and Jerry Kalbaugh.

Bob retired after 47 years with Carnegie Mellon University in the FMS (Facility Management Services) dept., and worked for Advanced Auto for 10 years delivering parts.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his loving family.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Funeral Service held on Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Interment Plum Creek Cemetery.
