Richard Vincent Duffy, Jr.

At the age of 67, of Oakmont, formerly Monroeville, PA, passed away on November 13, 2024. Richard was born on May 31, 1957 to the late Richard V. and Joan M. (Lesher) Duffy, Sr. Loving father to Allyson Duffy (Vincent Tavella) and Katie (Newsom) Wright. Adoring grandfather to Ariana Fusco, Julia Wright, Jamie Wright, Autumn Clawson, and Summer Clawson. Older brother to Elizabeth Duffy, Kimberly Krimm, and the late Deborah Duffy. Beloved uncle to Joshua (Dayna) Akey, Michael (Danielle) Akey, Bailey Krimm, and Anthony Barilla. Great Uncle to Nicholas Akey, Matthew Akey, and Emmett Akey, along with lifelong childhood friends and the many he made along the way. 

Rick was part of a proud tradition of being a member of the IBEW Local 5 Electrical Workers, as was his father and grandfather before him. He was a travel enthusiast, gardener, enjoyed building puzzles and was a devoted fan of Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
