Nicholas Anthony Ferraro, 74, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024.
Nick was the proud owner of Nick's Auto Repair in Penn Hills, PA, for many years. After retirement, he moved to Cumming, Georgia, where he lived for the last 19 years. He made many new friends because he never met a stranger, enjoyed golfing, was in a pool league (and was the champion), helped coach youth football with his son-in-law, and never missed anything that his grandkids did.
His true love was his family. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Ferraro and brother to Tom (Carolyn), Dean (Steve), Rene (Regis), and the late Michael (Alice). He was married to Diane Ferraro (Bergamasco) for 55 years and together they have three wonderful daughters and great son-in-laws. Tracy Stonecheck (Denver), Sherri Ferraro, Diane Bancroft (Ken). But his favorite title was Pop (grandfather) to Shannon Stonecheck (Kyle), Denver Stonecheck (Ashley), Nicholas Stonecheck, Reid Bancroft, and Julia Bancroft. Days before he passed, he had a big smile on his face when he met the newest addition to his family, Denver James Stonecheck, his first great-grandson.
Visitation will be held at Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 2-8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 10 am. Entombment will follow Celebration of Life at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Our family would love to celebrate his amazing life with all of his family and friends.
