Nell A. (Rose) Brown

Age 95, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.  She was born on October 28, 1929, to the late Charles and Mary (Norman) Rose.  Beloved wife of the late John W. Brown.  Loving mother to John W. (the late Regina) Brown, Jr., Judith (Robert) Lippert, and the late Janet Dunworth.  Grandmother to Greg (Ashley) Brown, Kevin Brown, Eugene (Lisa) Smith, Daniele Dunworth, Alyssa Dunworth, and the late Rebecca Clark.  Great-grandmother to Jase, Gage, Grayson, Inez, Wesley, Cayden, Dominik, Ryleigh and Donavin. Sister to Elsie Cristillo, the late William Rose, Charles Rose, John Rose, Mary Klayon, Florence Neal, and Martha Yobst.

Nell loved spending time and creating special memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, trips to the casino, and crocheting. 

Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Funeral Service will follow visitation at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow Service at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
