Mary E. (Lanzio) Tierno

At the age of 90, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 08, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on September 14, 1934, to the late Pasquale Nunzio and Rosina (DeFrancesco) Lanzio.   Beloved mother of Chris DeCarlo Parrendo (John), and Lori Martino (Chris).  Grandmother to Christopher Parrendo (Erin).  Great-grandmother to Isabella Parrendo and Christina Parrendo.  Sister to the late Carmella (Thomas) Nardelli, Louise (George) Bruno, Caroline (Eddie surviving) Chacon, and Rosemarie (Louis) Marziale.  Also survived by nieces Toni Simko, Doreen Stewart (Jamie), and Karen Chacon.

Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and cherished her loving family.  She also was a huge fan of the Steelers and Pirates, along with spending time with family and friends, and her pet cat “Tia”.

Mass held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, 11:00 am, at St. Barbara Roman Catholic Church, 111 Raymaley Road, Harrison City, PA. 15636.

Interment to follow Mass at Mt Carmel Cemetery.
