Katherine E. (Talento) Abriola

At the age of 96, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, surrounded by her family.  Katherine was the beloved wife of 40 years to the late Dominic Abriola.  Loving mother to Rosemary Davis (fiancé John Kemerer), and Joseph Abriola (Brooke).  Grandmother to Jennifer Davenport (Von), and Marisa Rothrauff (Zane).   Great-grandmother to Quentin Davenport, Braxton Davenport, and Arya Rothrauff.  Daughter of the late Carmen and Mary (Simko) Talento.  Sister to Carmen Talento (Nancy), the late Marion “Babe” Gaines (the late Donald), and the late Jean Nuzzo (the late Rudy).  Sister-in-law to Edi Talento.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Katherine enjoyed reading, gardening, building puzzles, and loved entertaining her family.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Blessing Service held at 10:00 am, on Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow Blessing Service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
