Joseph Dennis Zajdel
Joseph Dennis Zajdel of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73. Joey was a loving, caring supportive husband of 40 years to his wife Marion (Tornell) Zajdel. He was the most amazing father, daddy, “Fozz” to his three daughters Becky Zajdel, Megan Zajdel, and Bethany (Mark) Ducruet. Survived by his furrry companion Dala, and grand puppies Isabeau, Nutella, and Macaroon. Son of the late Joseph F. and Delorus (Kaminsky) Zajdel. Brother to Debbie (Rick) Tkach and Don (Mary Kay) Zajdel. Uncle to Robert, Douglas and Justin Leax, Rick (Amber) Tkach, Garrett (Tessa) Zajdel and the late Amy Tkach.
Joe was a retired Manager of Terminix, a life member, volunteer and Chief of North Braddock Volunteer Fire Co. #3. He enjoyed love and laughter filled poker nights with his family and his collection of model trains. A member of Beulah Presbyterian Church, which he served as a Deacon & Elder. His strong faith in God carried him through the triumphs and trials throughout his amazing life. He provided enough love, wisdom & laughter to his family and friends to last a thousand lifetimes.

Memorial visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 1:00 – 4:30 pm. Memorial Service held 3:00 pm. North Braddock Volunteer Fire Company Service held 4:00 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.
