Joanne B. (Albert) Romano

Joanne B. Romano, of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the age of 89.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Joseph D. Romano, son Dino Romano, parents Elias and Josephine (Tanzillo) Albert, and two siblings Donald Albert and Susan Navari.  Loving mother to Joseph (Michelle) Romano, III, and Steven (Lisa Lagrotteria) Romano.  Stepdaughters Nancy (Tom) Pusateri, and Barbara (the late Tom) Schaffer.  Grandmother of 5, and great-grandmother of 1.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Joanne and her husband owned and operated Romano Carpeting in Penn Hills for many years.  She also enjoyed playing slot machines, and cooking for the family.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Mass held on Tuesday 10:30 am at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish (St. Susanna Church 200 Stotler Road, Penn Hills).

Interment will follow Mass at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
