Joan “Betty” E. Sundin (Whitehead)

Age 91, of Verona, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, peacefully passed away.  Beloved wife of the late William Sundin.  Mother of Joan Sauer (Eric Hopperstead), Scott Sundin (Cindi), and Bob Sundin (Suzanne).  Grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of 17.  Daughter of the late William and Joan (Cook) Whitehead.  Sister of the late William Whitehead (the late Janet) and Suzanne DeMann (the late John).

Joan loved reading her bible.  She also enjoyed quilting, watching Hallmark movies, talking with friends, and in her younger years cooking.  Her greatest moments spending time and loving her family.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road., Penn Hills.

A Service will be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will follow service at Church Hill Cemetery.
