Obituary

James “Jimmy or Jimbo” A. Mason

Age 74, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022.  Loving son of the late Richard A., Sr. and Eva M. (Smith) Mason.  Brother of Carol McCabe (late David), late Gayl Mikulan (late James), late Richard Mason, Jr. (surviving Joan), and late Susan Mihalchik (late Robert).  Uncle of Amy Wood (John), Bobby Mihalchik (Beth), Keith Mihalchik (fiancée Mia Vertullo), and Terri Mihalchik.  Great Uncle of Meghan Wood (Dan Rose), Peyton Rose, Austin Mihalchik, Bobby Mihalchik, III, and Keeley Mihalchik.  Also survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jimmy was very much a “people person”, he enjoyed meeting and talking to others.  He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

In lieu of flowers donation made to Special Olympics in Jimmy’s honor, or a charity of your choice.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 7 – 9 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Funeral Service held Saturday 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment to follow Service at Hampton Cemetery.
