Herbert "Herb" Lintelman
Sadly we say farewell to a truly amazing man.
He lived his life to the fullest, loved his family deeply, and left peacefully on his own terms.
He was a a man of great character with an unparalleled work ethic, which he instilled in his children, grandchildren, and their families.
Big Herb as he was known to his co-workers was an admired steamfitter with Local 449 for 65 years.
He was a force in our family that brought everyone together. He taught everyone in the family no matter what....Be proud of yourself.
He loved everyone unconditionally with his massive heart.
He was a true example of strength, a wonderful storyteller, and a great listener.
One of his greatest joys was to sit and watch his entire family together. Although a part of our hearts if forever lost...the gift that he has given us by being who he was made us all better people. We are truly blessed to have had him in our lives as long as we did.
His teaching, love, and strength will live on forever. Especially knowing when to hold'em and when to fold'em.
Herb leaves behind his most devoted wife and poker partner, Marie. He also leaves behind 9 admiring children and was met in Heaven by hs son, Skip. Also 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
