Grace E. (Amber) Gattone 

At the age of 95, of Verona, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours on October 9, 2025. Grace was born on September 3, 1930, in Glassport, PA., to the late Andrew and Grace (Cooney) Amber.   She was the beloved wife of almost 50 years to the late August “Augie” Gattone.  Mother to Cindy (David) Pirro, of Murrysville, PA., and Suzanne (Richard) Powell of Greenville, NC.  Grandmother to Ronald Droske, III, Kristy (Dan) Murphy, and the late Leah Grace Droske.  Great-grandmother to Adele Droske, and Isaac Droske.  Sister to the late John (the late Ellen) Amber, Patrick (the late Pearl) Amber, Francis (the late Martha) Amber, and Mary Catherine (the late Marty) Mariotti.

Grace was faithful to her religion and servicing the Lord by volunteering for the Ladies of Charity at St. Susanna Church.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 3-7 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road Penn Hills.

Blessing Service held Monday, October 13, 2025,10:30 am., at the funeral home.

Interment to follow Blessing Service at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
