Elva B. Scheestel-Taylor (Hand)

Age 91, of Oakmont, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, surrounded by her family.  Wife of the late Harold G. Scheestel, survived by husband William S. Taylor.  Mother of Dale G. Scheestel, Mark C. Scheestel (Susan), Beth A. DeLibero (late husband Louis), Kim M. Cappella (Mario), and Karen S. Cratsa (Nicholas).  Stepchildren Howard Taylor and Kelley Letter (David).   Grandmother of Julie, Laura, Daniel (late grandson), Ryan, Stephanie, Matthew, Kristen, Lori, Michael, Samuel, Zachary, Joshua, Jacob, Rebekah, Stephen, and Abigail.   Step grandmother of David, Andrew, and Elizabeth.  Daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Hieronimus) Hand.  Also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Service held Saturday, May 21, 2022, 11:00 a.m. Oakmont Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennsylvania Ave., Oakmont, Pa. (Everyone to meet at Church).

Interment Private.
