Eileen Skelly (Klein)
Age 86, of Plum, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Skelly, Jr. Loving mother of Kathleen A. Riggs (Randy), Cynthia M. Skelly (Patrick McLaughlin), Michael J. Skelly, Darlene J. Jankowski (Jeffrey), and Kenneth P. Skelly (late Jodi). Cherished grandmother of John Riggs (Nicole), Kelly Riggs, Jennifer Riggs, Jocelyn Kopchak (Matthew), Breanna Koyro, Kyle Skelly (Morgan Leasure), Matthew Skelly, Jeremy Jankowski, Julianna Jankowski, Alison Skelly, and the late Shane Skelly; great grandmother of John Riggs, Archer Riggs, William Riggs, June Riggle, and Lincoln Skelly. Daughter of the late James A. and Mary Helen (Myler) Klein; sister of the late Sister Mary Helena (Carmelite Nun), Marlene Nave (late Richard), and Margaret Wheeler.
Eileen enjoyed listening to music, playing cards with her grandchildren, socializing, a member of the Red Hats Society, was on the Reunion Committee for Penn Hills High School, staying in touch with high school friends, loved to shop, worked as a bookkeeper for Crescent Pharmacy, and was devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. All of the good times she shared with her loved ones and friends will be remembered forever in their hearts.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 2 – 8 p.m., at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.
Mass held 10:30 a.m., Friday at Holy Family Parish (Our Lady of Joy) Plum.
Interment to follow Mass at Twin Valley Cemetery, Delmont.
