Edward Joseph Blasco, Sr.

Age 91, of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021.  Beloved husband of the late Ethelellen “Sis” (Stoner) Blasco; loving father of Sherry E, Steele (Douglas), Edward J. “Butch” Blasco, Jr. (Patty), and Diane E. Bonnett (Robert).  Son of the late Michael & Elizabeth (Fencik) Blasco; brother of the late William Blasco (Mary), John Blasco, Mary Peters (John), and Pauline Namey (George).  Grandfather of David Bonnett (Ashley Olwell), Kimberly Bonnett (Nate Snodgrass), Pamela Potts (Jon), Daniel Bonnett, Edward John Blasco, Andrew Blasco (Michele), Holly Hurney (Matt), Brian Steele (Carrie), Armando Steele, Becky Pecher (Michael); great grandfather of Faith Blasco, Jackson Blasco, Joey Hurney, Grant Pecher, Haley Steele, and McKenzie Steele.  Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.  In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions made to Pittsburgh’s Syria Shriners, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick, Pa. 15024.
