Doris E. Ketterer (Field)

At the age of 94, of Verona, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024.  Beloved wife to the late Elmer George Ketterer, Jr.  Loving mother to Lynne Kocon (Stanley), Gregg Ketterer (Dawn) of Virginia, and the late Douglas Ketterer (Carol surviving) of Illinois. Grandmother of Caitlin Ketterer, and Victoria Ketterer of Illinois.  Daughter of the late George R. and Marie (Graff) Field.  Sister to Roy Field (Diane) of Florida, and the late Robert Field (Delores surviving) of Arizona.

Doris throughout the years enjoyed traveling abroad to England, Germany, Paris, and in the states to Florida.  She also attended Broadway shows with her daughter and enjoyed reading.  Her greatest pleasure was spending precious time with her granddaughters and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations are made to: Bridges Hospice, 4130 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, PA. 15146.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 2-5 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Service will follow visitation at 5:00 pm.

Interment Private at Smithfield East End Cemetery.
