Domino P. Boggie
Age 92, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020.
Dom was preceded in death by his son James, twin brother Victor (Cheech), and sisters Mamie, Char, Stella, and Dean.
He is survived by his sweetheart of 70 years, Jean (Ma), daughter Debbie (Richard) Wertz of Oklahoma Borough, Granddaughter Crystal (Jim) Barrett of Parks Township, and great granddaughters Bella and Mila.
Prior moving to Penn Hills and starting his family, he grew up in Coral, PA helping on the family farm before joining the Navy and serving as a Commissary Seaman on the USS Sicily. After the Navy, Dom and his brother Vic opened Twin B's cafeteria in the Churchill Westinghouse Research building. Dom loved watching his grandkids grow up and could always be talked into throwing a ball. He had to keep busy and would always be tinkering around the house.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A Blessing service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.
