Christina M. Perez, age 39, of Indiana and Oakmont passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.
Christina was the beloved daughter of Michael J. and Diane M. (Diulus) Perez; sister of Matthew Perez and Stephanie (James) DeSimone; aunt to Jimmy, Emily, and Alex; and loving mom to her dog, Trixie and cat, Thorne. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Will Forsythe; her paternal grandfather, Albert Perez; paternal aunt, Theresa (Val) Petersen; paternal uncles, Albert Perez and David (Erin) Perez; lifelong best friend, Suzanne Kline and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Perez, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Eleanore Diulus; paternal grandmother, Elaine Perez; maternal aunt, Judy Kosar; maternal uncle, Joseph Diulus; and many dear pets including her dogs, Tank and Lucy.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was a graduate of Indiana University of PA and earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University. Tina was a well-known attorney in the Indiana area and will be remembered for her devout passion for many social causes. She frequently advocated for minorities and was active in local politics, having served as a State and Local Committee Woman for her area.
A hard working, independent person, one of Tina’s greatest accomplishments was going to Law School while working full-time, then passing the Bar on her very first try. An avid gardener and cook, she mastered the art of gluten free cooking and made the best cookies for friends at Christmas. She was a brave and fierce free spirit whose generosity and love for her family and friends will remain with them forever.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home Inc. 11311 Frankstown Road Pittsburgh, PA 15235. A Blessing Service will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Penn Hills.
