Charles "Chuck" T. Parker, age 79, of Penn Hills passed away peacefully May 8, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
Loving Husband of 57 years to Betty Jo (Sauter) Parker; beloved father of late Chris Rieger (Bill, surviving), Paula (Ron) Falise, Lori (Chet) Bulkoski, Lynn (Ernie) Nichol, and Buddy Parker; devoted grandfather to thirteen grandchildren: Melissa (Sara), Zachary, Dennis, Jacob (Sam), Danielle, Rebecca (Alex), Luke, Colleen (James), Rachel (Kenny), Carter, Samuel, Claire, and Aaron; and six great grandchildren: Henry, Roman, Wyatt, Sammy, Jonah, and Mary; brother of Helen Richardson; and survived by nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John Therman and Lula M (Fischel) Parker.
Chuck served in the United States Army having served overseas in Vietnam. He retired from UPS as a truck driver, receiving the award for 30 years of safe driving. In his retirement, he was a member of the American Legion Gold Star Post 820 and Member of the Universal Moose Lodge 298 where he was honored as 2025 Veteran of the Year. He loved his family and enjoyed playing cards. He liked to visit the ocean and enjoyed listening to music, especially Alabama and the oldies. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday May 17 and Monday May 18, 2026 at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home Inc. 11311 Frankstown Road Penn Hills. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Monday May 18, 2026 at the funeral home.
Burial to be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:30 pm Tuesday May 19, 2026. Please meet at cemetery.
