Bernadette "Bunny" (Fogle) Styslinger
Age 88, of Penn Hills, passed peacefully on Monday July 20, 2020, surrounded by her family. The last of the Silverdale gang, Bunny was the daughter of the late William and Cecelia Fogle and the youngest of nine. She was the beloved wife of 57 years of the late Joseph C. Styslinger, who died 10 years and one week before her. The cherished mother of Joe Styslinger of Penn Hills, Jim Styslinger of Murrysville, Mary Beth Styslinger of Gibsonia, Jack Styslinger of Penn Hills, Jeff (Amy) Styslinger of Leechburg, Cecilia Styslinger of Penn Hills and Bill (Barbara) Styslinger of Virginia Beach. She was the adored Grandma Bunny of Joe (Jackie) Maggio, Mindy (Matt) Wollenschlaeger, Jason (Mindy) Veatch, Shannon (Nathan) Wetzel, Jennifer (John) Werley, Jewel (Jeff) Nutter, Jessica (Hoheyun) Kim, Michael, Jim (Kady), Dan (Charis) and Patrick (Emily) Styslinger, Cassie and Mason Styslinger; loving Great Grandma Bunny to Mikala, Jade, Madison, River, Michael, Mia, Brooke, Natalie, Max, Leo, Kyler, Joanna, Kaison, Jackson, Joshua, Lennox, Kenleigh, Addison and Grant. A treasured aunt to a host of special nieces and nephews and dear friend to so many. She was preceded in death by her brothers Bill, George, Albert and Robert Fogle, and sisters Jean Hollis, Dorie Reed, Margaret Dovey and Sally Davis, and daughter-in-law Laurie Styslinger. Bunny was happiest with a baby in her arms and a gaggle of children at her feet. After raising her own seven, she went on to be a beloved nanny to several families and left an indelible impact on their lives as well. She was an accomplished and published poet, a founding member of the Mothers of Many Souls (MOMS) club, active member of the YMCA Silver Sneakers, TOPS and a faithful Christian Mother and member of Saint Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Penn Hills. Bunny touched so many with her kindness, her poetry and songs, joyful spirit, faith, and most of all her unwavering love for all her family. Her legacy will live on in all of us.

Family and friends will by received on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with a Blessing Service to follow at 8 p.m. at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.
