Barry Kaplan

Barry Kaplan, of Penn Hills, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the age of 75.  Beloved husband of 54 years to Candida (Swisher) Kaplan.  Loving father of Kimberly Shepard, and Jason Kaplan (Cathy).  Grandfather to Erin Shepard, Jacob Shepard, and Callie Kaplan.  Son of the late Max and Zelda (Nathanson) Kaplan.  His family was his life.

Barry was one of the founding members of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and volunteered for 40 years, Steward for BMW racing, and a lifetime member of Sports Car Club of America.  He was employed at ALCOSAN for 37 years.  He will be deeply missed by all.

A Celebration of Life visitation with the family will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 1pm to 5 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc. 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Interment Private.
