Angelo Anthony Montanile

Age 97, of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of the late Louise (Cange) Montanile.  Loving father of Debra Pring (late Jack), and Stacie Sturchio (late Gary).  Grandfather of Jacqulyn, Mark, Valerie, Regina (Freddy), and Mindy.  Great Grandfather of Cullen, Guerin, Angelina, Lilah, Chase, Jack, and Matteo.  Son of the late Gioncchino and Anna (Mietta) Montanile; brother of Victor, and the late Jack, Betty, Anna, Adeline, Carmela, and Josie.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Angelo led a very full and active life. He enjoyed hunting, bocce ball, gardening, watching the Steelers, played softball for the Senior Citizens, along with being a coach for his grandson baseball team.  Angelo was a WWII Army veteran.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Blessing Service will be held Saturday 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
