Angelo D. Bergamasco

Angelo D. Bergamasco, of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 82.  He was the beloved husband of Aimee (Michaux) Bergamasco.  Loving father to Denise Smith (John), Cheryl Hedstrum (Greg), Michelle Thiel (Russ), Alice Panaro, Emily Leick (Kent), Sarah Ragan (the late Joseph), and Katie Morrow (Brandon).  Grandfather to Melissa Simmers (Jason), Thomas Smith (Amber), Ryan Smith, Steven Kelly, Adam Kelly, Grant Hedstrum (Elizabeth), Scott Thiel, Dylan Thiel, Jordan Theil, Anthony Panaro, Chloe Leick, Joseph Ragan V, Brycen Morrow, and Reid Morrow.  Great-Grandfather to Alicia Renna, Joelle Matassa, Angelo Smith, Harper Simmers, Ava Rose Smith, Anthoy Joseph, Hunter James Smith, Avalon Thiel, Rowan Thiel, Chelsea Simmers, Ian Simmers, Oliver Thiel, Samantha Kelly, Krystina Kelly, Stephen Kelly, Ashlyn Hedstrum, and Grady Hedstrum.  Son to the late Dominic and Ursula (Casella) Bergamasco.  Brother to Robert Bergamasco (Pat), Dennis Bergamasco (Gloria), Armond Bergamasco (Paula), William Bergamasco (Pam), Thomas Bergamasco (Linda), Elroy Bergamasco, Marlayne Steve (Mark), Diane Ferraro (Nick), Joanne Gottschaulk (Bob), Roslyn Rydeski (Tom), Deborah Skoog (Bob), Susan Vecchiola (Matt), Theresa Grise (Mike), Libby Kuhn (Jim), Sharon Newmaster (Bruce), the late Charles Bergamasco, and Donny Bergamasco (Joyce – surviving).  Also survived by many, many nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Blessing Service held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 10:00 am., at the funeral home.

Interment will follow Blessing Service at Plum Creek Cemetery.
