Allan Mason Mikesell, Jr.

Allan M. Mikesell, Jr., age 69, of Penn Hills, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (Schmidt) Mikesell.  Loving father to Adam Mikesell (Pauline Walsh), and Brian Mikesell.  Grandfather to Briana Mikesell, Ella Mikesell, Makenna Mikesell and Sam Mikesell.  Son of the late Allan M. Mikesell, Sr. and Delvie (Marshall) Mikesell.  Brother to Keith Mikesell (Sally), Glynne Meinert (Tim), Kevin Mikesell, and the late Cindy Pounds (Paul, surviving).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Allan was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed playing the guitar, going to the beach, and was an Avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills.

Funeral Service held 10:00 am Monday, November 6, 2023, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow Service at Allegheny County Memorial Park with Military Honors.
